will present a discussion with Dr. John Tooby,

Co-Director, Center for Evolutionary Psychology,
Department of Anthropology

on the topic of

"A cue-theoretic approach to kin selection and reciprocity"

Abstract

Dr. Tooby will start out talking about recent empirical and theoretical work on kin selection and on reciprocity, but is eager to widen the discussion to anything from the relevance of physics to psychology, to the political orientation of the muscular, to the function of sexual reproduction, to why there is no such thing as individual fitness-but especially to new developments at ASU.
