The topic will be:

"Agent-Based Model of Exchange Networks"

Abstract
We propose an agent-based model of resource and information exchange networks of small, economically disadvantaged communities based on an ethnographic study of Salvadoran immigrants in San Francisco. Agents exchange resources reciprocally, and since information affects an agent's access to resources, the dynamics of the two networks are coupled. We discuss the dynamics of the networks and compare the qualitative features of the model with the data collected from the Salvadoran immigrant community.
