Title
"Bayesian Networks with Application to an Attentive Sensor Problem "
Abstract
Bayesian Networks (a class of graphical representations of probability distributions) have found application in a wide variety of problems, including pattern recognition, error control coding and decoding, expert systems, and data mining and analysis. This talk will present a brief tutorial on the fundamental concepts underlying Bayesian Networks and other related tools. Their application to an attentive sensor problem will be described, the insight obtained through this application will be discussed, and preliminary simulation results will be presented.
