Text: Elementary Differential Equations (8th edition) by Boyce and DiPrima.

Attendance: Students are expected to attend all class meetings and are responsible for all of the material covered. Any changes in the syllabus or in the scheduling of any assignments will be announced during class meetings. As time permits I will try posting them on the class webpage too. There will be NO "make-up" exams or quizzes. Unless a valid documented excuse is presented in advance, a missed exam will receive the score of 0 points.

Homework: Homework problems will be given in class and will also be available on the web (http://math.asu.edu/~svetlana/274hw.html). After a section has been covered in class, do the problems assigned for this section. Homeworks will be collected once a week. NO late homework will be accepted!

REMARKS:
  • The lowest score from quizzes will be disregarded before the course grade is calculated.
  • Quizzes will be given at the end of the class.
  • Homework might include computer assignments.
