BEYOND THE ANALYTIC BOUNDARY

Abstract:

Let tex2html_wrap_inline14 be a finite positive measure on the unit circle and tex2html_wrap_inline16 for tex2html_wrap_inline18 , tex2html_wrap_inline20 . Using a relation between the orthonormal polynomials with respect to the measures tex2html_wrap_inline22 and tex2html_wrap_inline24 , we derive the asymptotic behavior for orthonormal polynomials beyond the analytic boundary of the Szego function. This is a generalization of some known results (see, e.g., [4] and [8]).
