SUBMODULES OF PRODUCTS OF QUASI-PERIODIC MODULES

Abstract:

Previous work of J. Yu, A. Thiery and the author determines the connected components of (reduced) algebraic subgroups of products of various Drinfeld A-modules. Here we extend that work to products of the associated higher dimensional modules whose A-action is given by the corresponding derivations.

The first step is to further investigate the -linear relations holding on a subgroup of products of Drinfeld modules . Then submodules of the products of higher dimensional modules correspond to certain subspaces of derivations. One natural way these subspaces arise is as pullbacks of relations on submodules of products of Drinfeld modules.
