This course is the second part of our qualifier sequence in analysis (the first part being MAT 472). The final exam also serves as the second half of the graduate program's qualifying exam in Real Analysis. However, the use of the final exam in determining final grades for this course is independent of its use by the graduate program.
If you are a student in my class, you may see the solutions after the final is administered.
The coverage on the final exam is the entire course, although typically a higher priority is given to the material covered later in the semester rather than earlier, especially the material not appearing in the coverage of any midterm test. The topics appearing on the final exam comprise a sampling of the important material from the course, and not every topic we cover can appear.
Make-up final exams are a very serious matter! I do not have the power to authorize one myself; typically this requires permission from the dean of your college. In any event, this is only possible in extreme circumstances! Plane tickets, wedding plans, etc. are not valid reasons to miss a final exam! The ASU final exam schedule link above gives the policy regarding modifications to final exam times.
