PRELIMINARY NOTES
The paper, "Introduction to Minitab Local Macros," was presented at the Ninth Annual International Conference on Technology in Collegiate Mathematics which was held at the Reno Hilton in Reno, Nevada, November 7-10, 1996. In the paper, Minitab's local macro facility is introduced, illustrated, and applied. A general discussion includes the structure of local macros, how to invoke them, interactivity, and other fundamental concepts. Their use for extending Minitab and for enhancing classroom presentation is examined.
This electronic version of the paper has been designed explicitly for Windows platforms.
