Maple
Maple materials from Glendale Community College Department of Mathematics
The mathematics software Maple 6 has been integrated into the Calculus I course
at Glendale Community College. A Maple Manual and Maple worksheets have been
prepared by Craig Chamberlin and Nadine Moore for use with this course.
The manual does contain a small number of items that are specific to the course
taught at Glendale College. In general, however, the material is suitable
for any first semester Calculus course that uses Maple 6.
- A Maple Manual has been prepared to describe all the features of Maple
that are necessary to deal with issues arising in the Calculus I course.
This is a Microsoft Word document.
- Here is a set of 11 maple worksheets that can be run from the Maple program
to provide hands-on practice. These are self-contained and can be used
independently of the Maple Manual. You can download a worksheet by clicking
on its name while holding down a shift key on the keyboard. A dialogue box
will appear and you can specify the folder on your computer into which the
worksheet will be saved.
