The conference will be held at Guangxi Normal University, Guilin City, Guangxi Province,
P.R.China. For hotel reservation, please inform, in advance, the conference secretaries who
will help reserve hotel rooms at the following conference price with the hotels.

1) University Overseas Student Dorm: Y100RMB / day / room (with two beds)

2) University Expert Hostel:   Y180RMB / day / room (with two beds)

3) 3-Star Hotel Standard Room: US$ 40 / day / room

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

A valid passport and visa must be in possession by foreigners visiting China. After receiving your
Registration Form, the Secretariat will send a formal official letter for you and/or your accompanying
persons, which is required for your visa application at your nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate.
Participants from countries or regions without formal diplomatic relations with China may apply for
their visas from the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in a nearby country. If you have any problems in
getting a visa, please contact the Conference Secretaries immediately by E-mail or FAX.

CURRENCY AND BANKING SERVICES

International currency exchange services are available at banks, airports and  large hotels.

ELECTRICITY SUPPLY

Electrical appliances can be operated on 220v/50Hz in hotel rooms.

The temperature of Guilin in August is 25-30oC .

ARRIVAL IN GUILIN

Guilin has an international airport which can be connected to Japan(Fukuoka), Korea(Seoul),
Hongkong, Macao and Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Kunming.

We would appreciate your giving notice of your date and flight number for your arrival time
as early as possible to the Conference Secretary, so that we can arrange to meet you at the
airport of Guilin upon your arrival. It’s also very easy and cheap to take a taxi to the Ziyuan
Hotel or Hotel Universal, Guilin from the railway station.

Transportation is provided on August 14 at the Guilin Liang-jiang Airport and Guilin Railway
Station. If you arrive at other time by train, please take a taxi from the Railway Station for
about 10 RMB to the hotel you will register.  If you arrive by plane, please take the bus provided
by the Air Company to the final stop (about 20 RMB) and then ride a taxi (about 15 RMB) to
the hotel you will register.
