Journals:

I will ask you to turn in a journal entry around every 3-4 weeks. This should be three or more sentences that reflects your progress in the course. This will give you opportunity to communicate your success or difficulties in the class, your comments and concerns about the class, your reflections on the tests and the quizzes and any other thoughts or questions you have. The journal entries should also comment on what you feel was the most important or interesting (if any) you learned in the class since the last journal. Not completing the journals will effect your homework grade.

• Math  274 students should seek help from their teacher, although they can also get help at the Engineering Tutor Center in ECF 102

• Consider The Learning Resource Center <http://www.asu.edu/vpsa/lrc/> asan additional source of good math tutoring. The Learning Resource Centerprovides FREE small group tutoring in Math (MAT 106 through MAT 274) as well as in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English Composition, pre-Business courses,foreign languages and more. Drop-in or schedule an appointment. Tutoring isoffered day and night in Palo Verde West and Memorial Union room 14.
