JOURNALS:

I will ask you to turn in a journal entry around every 3-4 weeks. This should be three or more sentences that reflects your progress in the course. This will give you opportunity to communicate with me about your success or difficulties in the class, your comments and concerns about the class, your reflections on the tests and the quizzes and any other thoughts or questions you have. The journal entries should also comment on what you feel was the most important or interesting (if any) you learned in the class since the last journal. Not completeing the journals will effect your homework grade.

are available. Copies of basic directions for then following calculators can be purchased in the Engineering Copy Center:

The copy center charges $.06 per page. The Basics for Calculator Use is 10 pages, the specific calculator directions are 15-20 pages depending on the calculator.  Any student is able to buy them.
