Welcome to (the preliminary version of) the new Vector field analyzer II which much extends the functionality of the JAVA vector field analyzer.
Some of the major innovations are stack-fields, and the new line-integral panel. The new VFA2 is coded in JAVA 2, and still contains a few bugs .... These will be fixed in coming months as testing proceeds.
Launch the Vector field analyzer II.
The latest version is no older than August 7, 2001.
The most annoying bug appears w/ choice of polynomial vector field (e.g. "3 saddles"), and letting the flow-integration last too long ... it might be related to finite escape time etc.... it may freeze the browser. Most other known bugs are related to switching panels, and trying to reuse e.g. a region from the flows-panel inside the line integrals panel. (e.g. when drawing polygons, first point/newcurve/continuing old curve are not perfect) Need help w/ overriding symantec.BaseTabbedPanel.addCurrentTabListener(...).
