Zooming for only curl and divergence
Various lenses show different parts of the derivatives: There are lenses
for the components of the geometrically meaningful decompositions into
skew-symmetric (curl) and symmetric, trace-zero and trace times the identity
(div), and various combinations -- as well as for the parts of the intuitive
(but rather useless) decomposition into radial and circular. Technically
the combined curl+div lens shows the skew symmetric part of the derivative
plus the trace times the identity. Geometrically it is the part that commutes
w/ the rotation group. Visually it always shows spirals in- or outward,
and rite- or left turning.
