A fully functional parser allows the user to enter virtually any vector field that may be represented by standard formula. While this feature is responsible for making the applet much larger and its programming much more sophisticated, we believe that this is an essential feature for any program that is meant to allow the user to make true discoveries and experiments. Of particular importance are functions that allow to truncate vector fields near singularities  (via products with characteristic and piecewise defined functions).
