Homework # 14 will be due on Monday, 12/1.
Homework # 15 will be due in two parts:
      problems from 11.10 due on Friday, 12/5
      problems from Appendix G due on Monday, 12/8

There will be a make-up test for the Test 2.  This makeup is OPTIONAL.  If you take
the makeup, it will be worth half of the points that you missed on the second midterm.
You must take it in the Math Department Testing Center
during the week of October 20 - 24.  The time alloted for the makeup is 60 
minutes --- you must bring a watch and keep track of your time.  The times 
when you begin and end the test will be logged, and your score will be 
reduced if you take more than 60 minutes.  (However, a 5 minute grace 
period will allow for delays in picking up and turning in the test.)

The testing center hours are:  M - Th  8:00 am -- 8:00 pm, last start time 6:30 pm
                                 F     8:00 am -- 5:00 pm, last start time 3:30 pm

You must bring your ASU SUN ID card, and the preprinted label given in 
class, to the testing center to be allowed to take the test.

You should avoid waiting until the last minute, as there is sometimes a 
line to go into the center.

Test 2 on chapter 7 is on Friday, October 10.
Homework # 7 will be due on Monday, October 13.

Two copies of the 4th edition of Stewart, and of the student
solutions manual, have been put on 2-hour reserve in Noble library.
