Attention! We don't have classes on Friday December 31. But we do have classes on the other two Fridays: January 7 and January 14.

Students who don't have the book yet: you may see the problems for section 15.1 in the following PDF files: p1.pdf, p2.pdf, p3.pdf, and for Section 15.2 in the following PDF files: p4.pdf, p5.pdf.

The homework assignments will be of two types:

  1. Problems from the textbook, to be completed manually and collected in class. For the list of textbook assignments, please click here.

  2. Online assignments, to be completed online using so-called WebAssign. This has nothing to do with Blackboard, it's an absolutely different system! To access the WebAssign, please open the page http://webassign.net and follow the instructions. If you already have a login name, log in and enroll to the class with Class Key asu 1403 2637. If you don't have login name, you should buy access to WebAssign either from a bookstore or online. Please click on the link "I Have a Class Key", type in the Class Key asu 1403 2637, and follow instructions. Then, click on the course title "MAT 211 Winter 2010/11", read any announcements, and complete any homework assignments. At the beginning, no homework is assigned. The assignments will appear as assigned.
For grades for textbook homework, please click here. Letter S means: submitted but the grade not known, will not be counted.

The grades for the Midterm Test and the Final Exam are ready (for most students)! To see them, please click here.

The WebAssign grades were recalculated out of 10. To see the recalculated WebAssign grades, please click here.

AND NOW: the overall grades are ready (for most students)! To see them, please click here.

Important! If you want to contact me over your grade, you may do so UNTIL THURSDAY JANUARY 20 over email or in person in my office ECA 210 during my Spring 2011 office hours: Tuesday, Thursday at 12:00-1:15, and Wednesday at 11:50-12:40 and 2:00-2:50.
