Title: Epidemic models with reservoirs

Abstract: In the classical epidemic models of SIR type a small reservoir is introduced. Since some of the models are structurally unstable (in the sense of dynamical systems theory),the dynamics may change drastically. Even a very small reservoir may have a strong effect on maximal prevalence. The effects of the reservoir are investigated by analytical methods and discussed in public health terms.
