Review
Quizzes Policy (added
Nov 05):
There will be two quizzes given in class at some time (not disclosed)
between 11/08 and 11/25. Quizzes will contain problems similar to
problems on previous tests and their grade will be averaged with tests' grades
in ratio 80% (test) to 20% (quiz). Quizzes will be graded with no partial
credit given.
Example.
Suppose Johnny got on Test 1 70% and on Test 2 60% and on both quizzes
100%. His "new grade" from test 1 will be 0.8 * 0.7 + 0.2 * 1 = 0.76, test
2 will be 0.8 * 0.6 +0.2 * 1 = 0.68
