The manuscript presents new results upholding the well known
conscensus about the good stability properties of Chebyshev
pseudospectral methods applied to boundary value problems. It is
extremely well-written, of high technical quality, and is
consistent with the objectives and high standards of the AAA
journal.

I have a few suggestions which I think would improve somewhat an
otherwise clever and mostly clear presentation. This manuscript
should definitely be published in SIAM J. Numer. Anal. once the
suggested modifications are made.
