Redirecting / Bouncing Messages with Pine

Configure:

After invoking pine, you have to change your pine configuration as follows:

(1) From the main menu, select S for setup

(2) You will then be taken to the setup menu. Select C for config.

(3) Here, scroll down a page at a time, using the SPACE BAR, until you see Advanced Command Preferences. You have to enable two options here - enable-aggregate-command-set, enable-bounce-cmd.

(4) Use the down arrow key to scroll down until you have highlighted the option enable-aggregate-command-set. Type X to set the option. Similarly, highlight the option enable-bounce-cmd and set it by typing X.

(5) Select E to exit setup. You will then be prompted whether to commit changes. Type Y and you will returned to pine.

Bounce:

After you have configured Pine to bounce messages, you can bounce a message as follows:

(1) Once you are in your inbox, select the message that you want to bounce to.

(2) Type b to bounce a message. You will then be prompted to enter a email address. Type the address you want to receive the message, spamadd@math.asu.edu, and press enter.
