The ASU Math Tutor Center is located in PSA108 and PSA106 for Spring Semester 1999.  PSA108 will continue to serve Math 106, 117, 170, MTE 180, and now STP 226; while PSA106 will serve Math 114, 119, 122, and 210.  For Spring semester the tutor center will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mon.-Thurs., and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fri., beginning Jan. 21, 1999. Terri Miller is the main tutor center coordinator, assisted by Richard Ruedemann and Lance Ward.  PSA116 is currently being remodeled to become the tutor center at a later semester.
     To improve the quality of the tutor center, we have implemented tutor supervisors and formal periodic tutor evaluations.  And most students seem pleased with the assistance they receive from the tutor center.
     A special thanks to the instructor supervisors in the tutor center.  Also, special thanks to Paul Vaz for developing and placing in the tutor center a solutions key for tutors for the Math 114 homework.
